About DirtVanta

DirtVanta sells compact earthmoving and clearing equipment direct to the people
who run it — landscapers, drainage crews, tree services, farmers and homeowners with more
ground than a rental booking can cover.

Why we exist

A mini excavator rents for somewhere between $250 and $400 a day in most of the country. Four
or five jobs into a season, you have paid for a machine and you still do not own one. Worse, you
have built your schedule around a rental yard’s counter hours and a trailer you have to return by
five.

We buy these machines by the container, hold them in a US warehouse, and ship them freight to
your address. There is no lot, no salesperson on commission and no dealer markup on top of the
manufacturer’s price. That is the whole model, and it is why the price is what it is.

What we will and will not tell you

Every figure on this site is either read off the machine, taken from the manufacturer’s data
sheet, or converted from the manufacturer’s metric figure into US units. Where we do not have a
confirmed figure — the chipper’s rated capacity, the dumper’s payload, the loader’s rated
operating capacity — there is no figure on the page, and the FAQ says to ask us. We will
confirm it in writing rather than publish an estimate and hope.

You will not find star ratings, customer reviews, countdown timers or “only 2 left” banners on
this site. We have not been selling long enough to have collected real reviews, and inventing them
is both dishonest and, since the FTC’s 2024 rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, illegal.
When we have real ones, they will go up with the buyer’s name on them.

What you actually get

• New machines. Every machine ships new, with a pre-shipment check completed
  before it goes on the pallet.
• A written warranty. Two years on parts we supply, one year on the engine.
  The full terms are on the returns and warranty page — read them before you order, not
  after.
• Parts support. Wear parts and driveline components are sourced through the
  manufacturer’s US parts network.
• A 30-day return window. Measured from delivery, so the machine can prove
  itself on your own ground.

Where we are

DirtVanta is an online, freight-ship operation. We do not run a lot you can walk, which is part
of why the price is what it is — the 30-day return window exists so the machine can prove
itself on your ground instead. Our business details are in the footer of every page.
